The extraterrestrial comedy podcast Christmas Special 2020 where we probe Dorothy Martin and her band of merry Seekers. That's right, we are bringing you an extra Christmas Special episode this week probers! Dorothy was a lady who foresaw that a UFO would land outside her house and take her followers from the earth on Christmas Eve, 1954. This would save the Seekers from a great flood. What happens when aliens don’t turn up on time though? Will they turn up on the next day instead? Who were the Seekers? Who popped round to Dorothy’s for Christmas Dinner? We also learn what Granville thinks of Christmas and Granville also appears to be starting his own religion (Praise Lord Voldemort). As an allegedly truthfully educational podcast, we also drop some psychosocial science on your butts, exploring the origin of the theory of cognitive dissonance. Here’s a question for you… If you had been stood up by an alien three times, how confident would you be of the alien showing up the fourth time around? Confident enough to issue a press release announcing the scheduled arrival? All that and more on this week’s file.
